Description: Alexa is an electronic device connected to a cloud based service that provides a set of built-in capabilities, or skills, such as playing music from different providers, creating grocery lists, answering questions, reporting news flash briefings, providing weather forecasts and searching Wikipedia. Topics will include: teaching Alexa, connecting Alexa to other devices, Alexa's App options, shopping from Amazon using Alexa, and controlling Alexa’s microphone. Participants using Alexa may provide, show, and tell experiences with such electronic devices.
