M7-1: Canasta: Beginners Clinic January 17, 2020 · 9:30-11:30 am Description: Invented in Montevideo, Uruguay, Canasta is one of the most popular card games in the United States. It combines luck of the draw, skill and diverse strategies. The Canasta game you played with your grandparents as a kid has drastically changed. If you're not familiar with these changes, or if you're new to the game, these are the perfect clinics for you. This eight-week progressive clinic will include instruction about the rules and cover strategies needed to play the game. Participants will be given the opportunity for engaged playing time with other participants. Each week's instruction will build on the previous week's information. Men and women welcome.
