M11-4: Canasta: Abbreviated Beginners Clinic
Canasta: Abbreviated Beginners Clinic - Fourth Session
Canasta is a card game of the rummy family of games and is most commonly played by four people in two partnerships with two standard decks of cards. Players attempt to make melds of seven cards of the same rank and "go out" by playing all cards in their hand. Over the course of three weeks, participants will attend six sessions covering the basic rules and strategies needed to play the game. These clinics are designed for beginners interested in learning Canasta in a relaxed, friendly environment. Because we will be building skills through gameplay at each session, participants are required to attend all six sessions.
