G9-2. Invitation to Discuss the Russian/Putin Challenge (2 Sessions)
November 11, 2016 - 9:30-11:30 am | January 12, 2017 - 3:00-5:00 pm
Description: You’re invited to learn more about Russia and specifically Putin’s intention to extend his regional geographic influence, its’ importance, and why it may be important to the U.S. and the world. Are there major differences with other forms of aggression? Whose problem/challenge is it - Europe’s, the U.S.’s, the world’s? Why? Are the “solutions” military, political, economic, social? What’s the time frame? What are the chances for success? Please bring recent articles or information related to the topic (if you happen to have any resources).
Designed for: Anyone interested in discussing and learning more about Russia and its issues with the Middle East, Europe, and the world
Facilitator: Mark Michel
