March 5, 2018 | 9:30-11:30 am
Description: DaVinci was born as an illegitimate son, but became a mathematician, engineer, scientist, artist and Inventor. Unfortunately only 15 of his paintings survived, but hundreds of his drawings endured. DaVinci was the first artist to use consistent values in color and form. We will examine and demonstrate his ability to record the flow of light over objects, creating convincing shadow shapes and bringing depth and life to drawings.
Designed for: Anyone interested in learning more about painting and the life and professional works of Leonardo Da Vinci
Facilitator: Dean Oestreich
