S9-2 Introduction to Easy and Effective Negotiating Skills
Description: Everyone negotiates something every day and although negotiation takes place every day, it is not easy to do well. People either acquiesce and make unnecessary concessions or are determined to “win” at all cost and without regard for the relationship. In this three-session course, participants will be introduced to a third way to negotiate, the method Principled Negotiations (PN) developed at the Harvard Project on Negotiations. In addition to lectures and reference material, participants will get stress-free opportunities to practice PN concepts.
