T7 Jumping into the Electronic Generation: Smart TVs, WiFi, and YouTube
March 15, 2019 - 1:00-3:00 pm
Description: We’ve come a long way since those tube televisions that had knob dials and a dozen or so working channels. Now we are the proud owners of smart TVs and TVs with electronic devices that provide internet access to programs and streaming. With a wireless internet connection (WiFi), Smart TVs and TVs with attached electronic devices such as Apple TV, may stream videos from streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube. Mobile devices can also be used for streaming to TVs using devices such as Google’s Chromecast. With a little help, you too can jump into the electronic generation and stream online content straight to your TV.
Purpose: Learn how to address streaming, WiFi, and TV problems
Facilitators: Bill Furtwengler, Gary Ward, Mo Winograd
