M6: Developing (not aging): Altering Our Self-Images with Successful Learning Strategies - Putting it All Together
January 31, 2020
· 1:00-3:00 pm
Description: Our super brains, while in the continuous process of becoming, need to be fed and we control the variables that supply the food for the brain's continuous process of development. In this workshop, we will explain how our self-image works, how to examine it and its origins, while trying to alter its components. We also will learn how to use research-based learning strategies to enhance our memories, reverse memory loss, increase our motivation to learn, and reduce our tendency to put things off. We will explain how to use metaphors to form new brain-linked memory trails. Other potential contributors to the Brain's healthy development will be identified along with instructions for their use in learning.
Purpose: Understanding your brain better for optimal use
Facilitator: Bill Furtwengler
