Both iPhone and iPad users alike have become accustomed to the steady stream of updates from Apple to the operating system that runs them (you know, the "iOS"). The majority of these updates are rather innocuous, released primarily to fix issues or "bugs," to address identified security threats or required platform enhancements. Once a year, however, Apple tends to release a more comprehensive update that includes many meaningful enhancements to the look, feel and functionality we enjoy with these devices. This year is no exception with the newly released iOS 15 for iPhones and iPadOS 15 for iPads. This update includes a number of significant enhancements to many of the apps that you use on a regular, if not daily, basis. This update is compatible with iPhone 6s and every model released thereafter. This means that if you have an iPhone version that was produced between September 2015 and now, then yours will be eligible for the update. Similarly, iPadOS 15 is compatible with the iPad mini 4 and later, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5th generation and later, and of course all iPad Pro models.
