There's
no doubt that listening to your favorite music can instantly put you in a good
mood. But scientists are now discovering that music can do more for you than
just lift your spirits. Research is showing that music can come with many
health benefits such as reducing pain and anxiety, relieving stress, and even
helping with cognitive issues like memory loss, recovering from brain injury,
and treating seizures. So come gather around the piano and sing some old
favorites! Don't miss the fun (and beneficial) opportunities to enjoy the
resounding sounds of members singing your favorite songs. Contribute to our
collective voice or just listen to the refrain of moving music from the good
old days. This group meets once a month before Happy Hour at the clubhouse
(Happy Hour priced drinks are available to participants).
