Russia's massive assault on an independent Ukraine menaces the Eastern flank of NATO, the US post-World War II security architecture, and fundamental tenets of international law. The effects are felt across the globe, raising concerns about where Russia's next offensive will be, possibly going into the territory of a NATO member state and triggering article 5 ('all for one'). Moderated by Mo Winograd, the discussion will address four major areas: The historical context, because Russia-Ukraine tensions go back across centuries, not decades.
